Now the wife whats to know if the cleaning products will lead to some health issues for the kids.
The whole issue of children’s health is an endless process of gathering more and more information. Now they are saying that certain fishes contain to much mercury for young kids. So its a no go for young kids.
All the different chemicals that children are exposed to can cause problems but sometimes its so hard to figure out the root cause. Do all the chemicals that are now in our environment cause all these new health issues for kids. I’m not just referring to physical sickness like the common cold. No its all these new conditions that keep appearing that seemed to be no where on the radar screen even 10 years ago.
One thing that I find remarkable is the whole issue surrounding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder syndrome. When one of the local kids in the neighbourhood decked another kid with a punch it sort of was un-officially ok because the kid has ADHD. His brother is perfect and a great kid. Why is he ok and his brother a walking, talking ADHD awareness campaign. This one kid is a real piece of work. He needs something to help him out including some pharmacological treatment for ADHD. At some point his ADHD will pass from being a local neighbourhood issue into some bigger issue.
Also with the local kids, since mine are perfect, what about those kids who keep going to school when they are sick. There’s no way my kids should be coming home covered in germs everyday. This one kids in my daughters class had some spots of her face. I mentioned it to the wife and she went running to look up mumps symptoms and treatment. Turns out the kids does not go to school for the next few days and yes the kid had mumps. I can’t believe the parents sent the kid to school when it was obvious that their child was sick. They most have had an important meeting at work that day!
