Its not just the winter weather thats rapidly approaching its something even more deadly. Oh the curse of the winter season. Its almost time to start the dreaded Christmas holiday shopping season.
The problem is the exactly the same thing every year. Its not the crowds of shoppers tripping over each other. Its not the mile long line ups when the store only has one cashier working on December 24th. No the worst thing about the whole process is trying to think of good Christmas gift ideas. Actually forget good what everyone is trying to find is the killer - thank you I’ll remember this Christmas forever - gift. It exists according to every seasonal TV show and movie, although I’ve never found it. Thats part of the problem, we believe that the perfect gift is out there and we keep looking even though we’ve found everything that was on the list.
Whats even worse than trying to find something for someone you know is trying to help someone else find the perfect gift. Last year I was dragged out by my co-worker while she searched for her boyfriend Christmas gifts. It didn’t matterr that I thought the guy was a bit of a loser I still was supposed to know what he wanted. I was clueless. Funny thing was that he got what he deserved in January. She dumped him. Maybe it was because of the wool sweater I suggested for his holiday gift.
